How we roll!

My friend teresa at tiara's and tantrum's did a post on her ride. She claimed it was messy but the pics posted looked to me like a brand new car ;) To insure Teresa I wasn't just being nice and since I already came clean today about my judgement issues I thought I may as well play along and come clean with pictures of my ride. Keep in mind we just got home from a week long road trip and Carl is out of town and I don't really drive anywhere since we're still on summer break. Who am I kidding, I have never in my life been able to keep a vehicle clean. The pictures of the outside of the van show some of my recent run in with poles, post, rocks, and what have you. Keep in mind we've only had this van 6 months so it is practically brand new. If you have never driven a 12 or 15 passenger van you wouldn't know how difficult it is to judge distance from poles and other potential dent making hazards. A couple weeks back I was in the grocery store parking lot and knocked over a large cement post holding a stop sign! Funny thing is I didn't even notice, Xavier was the one who pointed it out! LOL!! Anywho here's my ride in all its puked on, toy covered, dented up glory!

OH! That's nothing! You should see mine! (and I wasn't on vacation. LOL)

I totally agree about driving big mama vans! I have run over & backed up on so many things. I am just thankful i haven't hit anyone! (I do have a HUGE dent from backing up into a nice big oak tree!)

If I can remember, I'll try to do this on Saturday.

Girlie - just clutter - no mess - you have five babies in there - HOW the heck do you get everyone strapped in all those seats and how long does it take to load up and unload the car? You must have to add that time into a trip for sure!!
I love those seat covers - where are those from??

Makes me feel really bad about how messy and dirty my van is! I won't even take a picture of it it's so bad! I usually have 4 + kids in my van since I drive around with day care kids so I totally get it!

my truck is 6 months as well... and I can say other than the door being colored on on the inside (crayons are for paper not Mommy's new truck) is the cleanest thing I have in my life! It is even cleaner then when I was 16 and got my first car. Why do you ask is a truck that fits 6 not messy cause it always hold 5 kids ... cause the gas is so friggen expensive that I don't drive it anywhere!!!!! LOL.

I was just thinking today about earlier this summer when we cleaned the van so thoroughly, vacuumed, shined....and said we would never get it so dirty again..and now? We practically live in there, it seems. And when we get home, who has the energy to go back out and clean up the cracker wrappers? I do try to pick up the diapers, though....Our van is a 15pass. Chevy Express, with the large wheel base (compared to other vans the same size) I thought this would make it easier to drive: No!!!I cannot get into a parking spot without backing out 3 times to straighten out....Oh, the dirty looks I've gotten.....and by the way, your van doesn't look too bad to me!
