Such good kids...

I have been talking to Klausine about going to kindergarten and she is really excited. We have started working on getting her printing her name. She is doing really well...I think it is really important when you have as many kids as we do to get them started helping out around the house early. Xavier and Klausine are the laundry collectors and sorters. Every other day they collect up all the laundry from every corner of the house and take it to the laundry room and sort it. They really have a blast getting it all down the stairs...
Last night Xavier got to go to a production of Beauty and the Beast, with scouts, at the local arts center. It started at 7:30pm and Carl was told to come back and get him at about 9:00pm. So Carl dropped him off then came in to visit me at work. When he went back to pick him up at 9:00pm they said it was just the intermission and they didn't know what time it would be over. So Carl ended up waiting until 11:00pm outside the arts center in the van with the other kids. Xavier had a great time and as usual was up bright and early this morning. I must say I am very disappointed in Scouts. They are disorganized, and rarely do anything I would imagine scouts doing, like building bird houses or learning to survive in the forest. All we have done this year is fund raise for them and watch the kids run around and play soccer every Wednesday night. If anyone is thinking about having their son join I would think again. Any way I am going to get as much done as possible this morning so I can have a big nap with all my tired babies this afternoon.

Good job on the printing, Klausine!!
Laundry days look like fun! Now if you just teach Xavier how to iron, you'll be all set!
