Meet 4 year old Calleigh, she's an addict. Calleigh has been addicted to these two fingers for over 4 years now. She claims they taste like strawberry flowers. Finger sucking consumes at least 18 hours of her day. She is ridiculed by her peers and even some of her own family. Calleigh needs help. She can't so this alone. Being the concerned parent I am I have been researching toddler rehab facilities...so far no luck.
I bring this up not because I am actually concerned, I'm not, but....I had an ultrasound today and to my amazement I watched one of my 14 week fetuses make a thumb sucking fist and put its minuscule thumb into its mouth!! 14 weeks!! Last ultrasound the baby barely had a spine, today its sucking its thumb!! WOW is all I have to say!

Ultrasounds are unreal! I love looking at my unborn children. It's much better at your end of pregnancy to later in the piece, everything is blurry for me now.
My first son was always sucking his hand during the ultrasounds, and started to as soon as he was born. We gave him a pacifier because we figured we could throw it out when he was big enough. Cutting off a hand/finger. Not so easy!
