Finally a day off!!
I guess the kids didn't get the memo about sleeping in this morning because they were all up before six. We contained them in our bed for a little while but after a while they whine about being SOOO Hungry! Luckily my wonderful loving husband saw that I was completely exhausted and got up with them and made breakfast. I stayed in bed for another hour or so then got up and started getting ready to go back out to Surrey for lunch at grandmas.
We made it to Surrey and had a great lunch with Great grandma and grandpa, grandma, and uncle Wayne. I took some cute pictures but seem to have misplaced my camera.
After lunch we headed over to Rachel and Brians house for a late Christmas get together. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins and we would have stayed longer but Lunden had a little accident. He was helping make popcorn and despite being warned how hot the popper was he touched the element. He got a pretty bad burn on his finger and wanted to please go home. We thought this would be a perfect opportunity to use the DVD player in the van but we could not figure out how to get the volume to work. So they watched with only the sound of both Lunden and Georgia taking turns screaming the whole way home. We got home got them all into bed and hit the sack early. What a day.....
