HUG DAY!!
Yesterday Lunden informed us it was HUG DAY! I figured I'd humor him and make this Lunden holiday a big deal. I threw together a cherry chip cake and after dinner we lit candles and sang happy hug day to each other. We even gave daddy a call and I held the phone up while all the kids sang a happy hug day to him. Klausine informed me this morning today is kiss day. I think she may have been trying to squeak another dessert out of me but none the less there was a lot of kissin' going on here today. I sure wish Carl was here...;)

Hug Day sounds like fun! WE should all have a hug day. Even get out of school for it (yeah right!) The cake looked yummo! Where's the recipe darlin'?!

Such a great idea to make a big deal out of something small. It probably made him feel really important!:)
Any excuse it a good one to make a cake, at least in my book.
I know how you feel wishing your husband was around - mine goes off regularly for work too and he does miss a lot of those precious moments.
