Carl, Xavier, Klausine, Lunden and I went to monster trucks on the weekend. This has been a tradition since the first monster truck show we went to when Xavier was 3 days old at the PNE. We went to McDonalds for dinner then took the skytrain out to BC Place. I think the kids were more excited about the fast food and skytrain than they were about the actual show. I've gotta say the show was a little diassapointing and the kids were very tired by the end. All in all we did have a good time. It was fun being together and meeting up with our friends Andrea and Nick and their son Scotty. We will probably go again next year but I think I will try to convince Carl to take the kids and I'll stay home!

What a great excuse to get out of the house and not make dinner -- however I do agree with your plan for next year :)
